Wherever you come from and regardless whether you are a child or an adult, you can use the library. It's free for everybody.
To borrow you have to register. See Rules and regulations


You can borrow:

  • Music on CD and sheet music
  • Books on CD and tape
  • Videos and DVDs for all ages
  • Language courses on CD and tape

You can use/consult:

  • Magazines and newspapers in many different languages
  • Reference books
  • The Bærum local history collection (printed materials and photos)
  • Municipal, governmental and other public documents
  • Computers with public Internet access
  • Coin operated copiers

  • Ask a librarian! Information assistance for all customers; at the library, by phone or via e-mail
